REVV PRIVACY INFORMATION - VERSION 1.1.2 Revv reads local process, service, startup, hardware, memory, CPU, GPU, and network-interface information to show what is running and prepare a cleanup list. If OBS is detected, Revv reads the selected saved video profile from OBS's local configuration. It does not read OBS's service configuration or streaming keys. Preferences and restore information are stored locally in: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Revv\state.json A backup may be stored as state.json.bak. Error reports, if an error occurs, are stored in error.log. These files may contain local app paths, app names, and details of an error. Revv has no usage telemetry, cloud account, advertising, license-key server, or remote configuration. It does not send process lists, hardware details, preferences, or error logs to a server. By default, Revv checks for updates when opened, at most once every 24 hours. You can turn this off in Help & About, or check manually. It requests a small version file from https://xcynist3r.com/downloads/revv/latest.json. The website host sees the normal connection information, such as your IP address and the Revv version in its user-agent. Checks don't download or install an update. Download update opens the official installer link in your browser; website and browser privacy settings apply. You decide when to run the installer. No streaming credentials are requested or sent. Network readiness checks inspect local connections; they do not perform an upload-speed test or contact a stream platform. Revv does not capture your microphone, camera, game, or stream. Revv only performs cleanup or changes system settings when you choose an action. Stream Mode does not start or stop your broadcast. The installer preserves preferences during an upgrade and uninstall. After uninstalling, you may remove %LOCALAPPDATA%\Revv yourself if you no longer need its settings or restore records. Restore paused services and closed apps before uninstalling. Sharing an error log is your choice; review it first because it may include your Windows username and paths.
